Valparaíso Wine Tours, the Company: What It Sells
An independent look at the tour company trading as Valparaíso Wine Tours: its wine bus, transfer tours and Emiliana bike tour, prices, booking and cancellation terms.
Valparaíso Wine Tours is a wine-tour company based in Valparaíso, with its office inside a boutique winery on Cerro Mariposa. It sells three products: a round-trip wine bus to several wineries, one-way “transfer tours” that stop at wineries on the way between Santiago and the coast, and a private bike tour at Emiliana in the Casablanca Valley, all booked by enquiry through its website. This page sums up what it offers, from its own website, read on 26 October 2026; its tours are booked there, not on this site.

Who they are
The company’s homepage says it was founded in 2008 by sommeliers, chefs and tourism professionals and that it runs private and semi-private wine tours, with all-inclusive and non-inclusive options. Its contact page puts the office inside Bodega Rossaria, a boutique winery at Barbosa 151, Cerro Mariposa, Valparaíso. The name is a description as much as a brand, which is why a search for “Valparaíso wine tours” returns the company first and the many other operators who run wine tours from the city below it.
What they sell, and the listed prices
All prices are per person in US dollars, for a minimum of two people, as listed on the company’s website in October 2026. Children 12 and under travel free, and teenagers from 13 to 17 pay half.
| Product | What it is | Semi-private, driver-guide only | Semi-private, all-inclusive | Private, driver-guide only | Private, all-inclusive |

“Driver-guide only” means the transport and the guide; you pay each winery’s tasting and your meals on the day. “All-inclusive” adds the tastings and a three-course lunch. The bike tour runs Monday to Saturday, takes about three and a half hours, and leaves door to door between 9:00 and noon.
The company lists partner wineries across five valleys. In Casablanca they are Emiliana, Bodegas RE, Casa del Molle, Casas del Bosque, Attilio y Mochi, Viñamar, Indómita and Villard; the others are in Aconcagua, Maipo, Colchagua, Leyda and San Antonio.
How booking works
There is no booking calendar. You send the dates, the number of people and what you have in mind through the contact form, and the company replies with an itinerary. The cancellation terms differ by product, according to its booking-policy page:
- Transfer and wine bus, all-inclusive: a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before departure; inside 48 hours, a partial refund or none.
- Bike tour: non-refundable once confirmed, but a credit for a future booking if you cancel at least 48 hours ahead.
- Private tours and partner-winery bookings: non-refundable.
The same page also states that reservations are non-refundable once confirmed except for force majeure or illness, so ask which rule applies to your booking before you pay.
Who it suits, and the alternatives
The company’s distinctive product is the one-way transfer tour: moving from Santiago to the coast, or back, with wineries on the way, in a private or semi-private vehicle with your luggage. Its bike tour at Emiliana is also something the day tours on GetYourGuide do not offer. It suits travellers who want a driver-guide to build a day around them, or a valley other than Casablanca.
If you would rather book instantly with a 24-hour free cancellation, the day tours compared on this site do some of the same jobs:
- A wine day that ends on the coast: Best Trip Chile’s Valparaíso and Casablanca wine tour offers drop-off at Valparaíso port on request, for $65 in current promotion (usually $70) a person.
- Several wineries in one day: Best Trip Chile’s four vineyards and Tanino, from $149, including the tastings at three estates.
- From the coast: Beloved City Tours’ Casablanca vineyard tour picks up in Viña del Mar or Valparaíso, about three and a half hours, from $150.
