How Much Does a Casablanca Valley Wine Tour Cost?
Casablanca wine tour prices step by step: the wine-shop stop, the Valparaíso day with one tasting, the three- and four-winery day, lunch with pairing, and going alone.
A Casablanca Valley wine tour costs from about $30 to $40 for a coast day with a glass at a wine shop, to about $60 to $90 for a Valparaíso day with one real vineyard tasting, to about $139 to $149 for a day at three or four wineries, and about $224 to $249 for a small group with lunch and pairing, all per person from Santiago with hotel pickup (GetYourGuide, October 2026). Lunch and tips are extra on almost every shared tour. Going on your own, the wineries charge from CLP 27,000 for a tasting to CLP 42,990 for a tasting tour, plus your transport.

The price ladder
Each step up buys something specific. Here is what, with the tour that represents it:
| Step | What you get | Example | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Coast day, wine-shop stop | Valparaíso, Viña del Mar and Reñaca beach, with a welcome glass at the Río Tinto wine shop on Ruta 68; guides in Spanish and Portuguese | Aprendi a Viajar | $36 in current promotion (usually $40) |
| 2. Valparaíso day, one vineyard | The hills on foot, a funicular ticket, and a 40 to 45 minute tasting at a Casablanca vineyard | Best Trip Chile | $65 in current promotion (usually $70) |
| 3. Organic estate on a Valparaíso day | The same day, ending with three wines and a tasting board at Emiliana | Best Trip Chile | $56 in current promotion (usually $70) |
| 4. Three or four wineries | Emiliana, Viñamar or Casa del Molle, Bodegas RE, and a lunch stop at Tanino in Casas del Bosque | Best Trip Chile | $149 |
| 5. Small group with lunch and pairing | Up to seven guests at Casas del Bosque, tasting plus a three-course lunch with pairing | Chile Tours | $249 |

What the premium buys
The jump from step 1 to step 2 is the one that matters most: it is the difference between a glass poured at a roadside shop and a tasting at a vineyard, with someone explaining what you drink. From step 2 to step 4 you roughly double the price, and you trade Valparaíso for more wine: about 75 minutes at each of three or four estates and nine wines or more, against one stop of 40 to 45 minutes. Step 5 buys a smaller group and the meal; lunch is otherwise extra, and at Tanino, the restaurant most tours stop at, it is a full restaurant meal.
Going on your own
The wineries publish their own prices, which makes the arithmetic easy:
- Casas del Bosque: the Aromas Wine Tour of the vineyard, winery and barrel room with four wines, about 50 minutes, CLP 38,000 a person; the Aromas tasting of four wines, about 30 minutes, CLP 27,000 (booking prices, October 2026). Daily; weekend bookings by email. Chile Tours’ Casas del Bosque day adds the transfer from Santiago and lunch.
- Emiliana: organic tasting tour with four wines, 1 hour 15 minutes, CLP 42,990 a person; the premium Gê tour CLP 47,990. Tuesday to Saturday only.

Add transport. There is no train, and the intercity bus drops you in the town of Casablanca, not at the estates, so you need a taxi or a driver between wineries; tasting and driving a rental car do not mix. Two tastings and a taxi soon cost as much as step 4, which includes the tastings, the van and a guide.
Private tours
A private day costs more per person, and the gap shrinks as the group grows. The company trading as Valparaíso Wine Tours, for example, lists its private wine bus with a driver-guide at US$129 a person and its private all-inclusive day at US$249, against US$79 and US$199 for the semi-private versions (its own website, October 2026). The private or group guide covers when that is worth it.
Do you tip after a wine tour?
Tips are not included on any of the shared tours we compared; every listing names gratuities as excluded. Tipping the guide at the end of a good day is common, and entirely up to you.
